Emir was born in Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He became interested in electronics and computers very early programming C64 and Atari. His interest in electronics and software drove him to a MSc degree in Electrical Engineering. He discovered Mambo and joined the project in its early days in 2002. As a previous core developer of Mambo, Emir developed many addons, bug fixes and enhancements for both Joomla! and Mambo.
