Upperz is a free social network site for business and/or professional use based on Joomla and Community Builder. Upperz is ideal for professionals like CEO’s, managers, business owners, freelancers and in fact professionals in general, because it connects you with your business contacts, and it lets you do the things, you can’t do on other social networking sites. At least not for free.
You can add an unlimited amount of your business contacts to your account, get into contact with other users without having any (contacting)restrictions, add or find job openings, post events, pictures, news and blogitems, publish your CV/résumé and start or join networks or groups to interact even more with others. Each user can subscribe or start a group which has its own blog, news, media, poll and forum. What makes Upperz different is not only that you get all this functions for free, but that Upperz is also based for 100% on Joomla, prepared to use the advantages of Google’s Open Social and allows other developers to develop extra applications on Upperz. Important is also that Upperz will be active worldwide, but focus on regional markets.
