At least we made it: JoomLeague 0.86 is here! PDF Print E-mail
Saturday, 12 May 2007
It took a long time - always something intervened the release - but now it finally happens:  we can - not without a little bit of proud - present the newest JoomLeague v0.86.

A list of changes and fixed bugs would definitely go beyond the scope of this article, I suggest reading changelog to get an idea how many improvements and innovations we integrated!

We did our best and I want to emphasize thanks particularly to anyone who helped to reach the aim of to making this new release as sound as possible.

Everyone concerned knows who I mean.

Enough introductory words, you can find our "newest baby" in our download area.  User already working with 0.85 are adviced to read the update instructions following in this article.

Update Instruction from JoomLeague 0.85 to 0.86

  1. Backup your Joomla Database!
  2. Backup your Joomla Files and Folders!
  3. Uninstall JoomLeague 0.85 via Joomla Component Installer.
  4. Install JoomLeague 0.86
  5. Go to JoomLeague -> Updates and start the DB Update (update_0.85_to_0.86)
  6. If there are no errors your upgrade is complete!
  7. Go to the project configuration, open each project and check the
new values, then save each project to update the values in the DB.

Notice: Due to some changes in the JoomLeague structure, all images, logos and so on got a new path! You have to put all these things outside the JoomLeague folders. E.g. images/joomleague may be a good path.

If you don't do this, you will loose you're data in next releases!
