a8eJoomla now has a new team and website

Matthijs & Zoran have decided not to continue developing a8eJoomla. The project has been handed over to duvien who will continue to keep it alive, working alongside a team of Web Developers and Designers (Laurent and Kevin).

The new team also felt that a new website was needed to provide better support. As a result the project has now moved from its old forge site to a new location which is at http://www.a8eJoomla.com

What is a8eJoomla?

a8eJoomla is a core hack version of Joomla! that conforms to web accessibility guidelines and web standards (e.g. W3C )
in better ways by removing HTML tables from the core output for contents on front-end of the website. It is not a complete rewrite of the system so all Joomla! extensions will still work.

a8eJoomla is an open source project released under the GNU/GPL license and is free for anyone wishing to use it for personal or commercial websites. You can download a free copy from a8eJoomla website in the download section.

Some basic knowledge of administering Joomla and CSS to create a template since it is 100% CSS driven.

a8eJoomla latest version is based on Joomla! 1.0.12.
