Template Competition - The Norwegian Joomla! Accossiation PDF Print E-mail

It started to get narrowed for modules and content at The Norwegian Joomla! Association homepage (Foreningen Joomla! i Norge), and therefor it was decided to arrange a competition among members and other interested designers to make new template(s) for the site. In the meantime the practical Simplicity-blue template from JoomlaShack is used on the site, donated by one of the board members.

Our webhost sponsor, Sircon, is giving the winner 2 years free Mini web hotel. All finalists will also get a free t-shirt.

Mainly the template should support 1024px, alternativly have expanding width. CSS based, no tables. Also the Joomla! logo in combination of  the accossiations text has to be be used as today.

Rules:
  • The template(s) must be made for joomlainorge.no and sub sites, and it should never have been published before.
  • The template(s) must have valid xhtml and css coding, ref. http://validator.w3.org/
  • Copyright for the winner template is given to The Norwegian  Joomla! association (Foreningen Joomla! i Norge)
  • All participating templates has to be delivered and ready to use 30. Mars 2007 (this year).

The board evaluetes and chooses 3 finalists who will be presented at The Norwegian Joomla! Accossiation on April 8 2007, where the users will be able to vote for the winner 14 days before it's taken down and evaluated.

The winner is then announced in connection with the accossitations yearly meeting, probably in middle or end of may - at the same time it will be used on the site.
