The mission of The Silver Knights Alzheimer’s Charity is to provide free chess lessons and/or play chess with adults primarily over 40 who live in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals, senior centers and other difficult circumstances who may be physically or mentally challenged, to bring a fun distraction and to brighten their day as well as to prevent Alzheimer’s Disease. The community website was built to support this effort through organized groups and open communication.
About the Organization: Research has shown that learning to play chess can help to reduce the chance of getting Alzheimer’s disease by 60%. It is important for the physically challenged and the elderly to exercise their minds in a fun way while their bodies are healing.

The First Nations Veterans’ Memorial Tipi and website are a
lasting monument to honour the First Nations people who served in the Canadian
Armed Forces and Allied Forces.
Look Matters has designed a website that integrates the
elements of the first nations culture combined with excellent Joomla platform.
The site enables visitors to search for first nations of Saskatchewan who have served in World Wars
or peace keeping missions.
The third party components used for this project are DBQ
Manager and Smooth Gallery.

Over&over Document Specialists has been launched on the Joomla! platform. The custom template completely xhtml/css with no tables anywhere on the site accept where tabular data is required. Some smart plugins make life very easy on the client for managing the many machines they are listing.

Croworld.ca has been around for 3 years, although just recently went through a e107 -> joomla conversion. We support the Croatian community outside of Croatia by trying to keep everyone in tune with what is going on in the community.
