A bunch of Joomla! addicted people had decided to open a german support forum for all Joomla! users. Most of these people are well known as top supporters from other communities. After an information- & chat-community on http://www.joomla-support.de this was the next logical step. There are specialists for every question about templates, extensions & security, they have 3rd party developers on board, too. And sometimes you could meet core developers in the chat. The chat is IRC based and near to #joomla, the official Joomla! support channel on Freenode.net, and was named #joomlachat.de.
The main thing is to support Joomla! 1.0, but in the future Joomla! 1.5 will be supported, too. You'll find this forum on
