Channel Computing of Penryn, Cornwall UK, have gone live with a new site for client "The HypnoBirthing Centre", using Joomla 1.5.2 Stable, and the latest integration with Freeway Opensource eCommerce platform. Freeway was selected because of its online events booking and scheduling system, but its fair to say that aspects of the integration are still a work in progress, so there are still a few niggles to iron out.
The site uses as its foundation the nice template redevo-aphelion by redevolution.com, from the Joomla 1.5 template competition, a bit of a favourite of Channel Computing at present with its resizing, accessibility considerations and colour variations built in. The look of the template has been altered quite comprehensively, and there is still some work to do in that area.
The site also uses the latest Community Builder which means it still has to run in Legacy mode- at least until CB is available in native mode.
Technical Director of Channel Computing Peter Graves is a big fan of SmartSEF, but it can't be used at present due to issues with rewriting the URLs in the Freeway part of the system, so they have had to create a basket full of 301s redirects in order to go live in time.
Channel Computing have a bit more work to do but at least the site is up and running. You can have a look at HypnoBirthing Courses in London, Surrey and Wiltshire if you're interested; Channel Computing welcome any constructive comments or suggestions.
Finally a note from Pete at Channel - "If you're planning on having kids - try HypnoBirthing - just look at these testimonials from the Mothers that have!"

I have built a site that allows users to share their music with the
world for free. The URL is http://www.pewsondor.com/musichost
In
order to submit music you will need to register. NOTE: This site is
still in production, so any submitted content will still be availabel,
and it will also go to the parent site: http://www.pewsondor.com/
The
music allowed is mainly for Zleda fans doing their own music, as I will
have a special directory for it, but any music is welcome, just make
sure it is yours. I have more details about it on my site:
http://www.pewsondor.com/musichost/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=2&Itemid=3
I want tothank Joomla for its work and giving me the ability to do this.

The 2008 Autism CARE Walk is proud to announce the launch of their new website. Joomla! and other open source code have allowed the Autism CARE Walk to implement a system that traditionally would have cost thousands of dollars. Users can raise money for autism awareness by registering for the walk 'in person' or as a 'virtual walker.' Once users have registered, they are invited to create their own personal fundraising pages. Each user can set a fundraising goal and invite their friends and family to visit their profile to make a pledge. AutismCareWalk.org facilitates the 'friends asking friends' method of donations, which makes fundraising easy and effective.
Users who register for their own personal fundraising page can even customize their own URL. View and contribute to a personal fundraising page by visiting http://www.autismcarewalk.org/tylerpatterson
Register as a virtual walker today and help raise money for autism awareness! CARE stands for Community of Autism Resources and Education and any funds generated from the event will help benefit children who are on the autism spectrum through workshops and programs offered by Heartspring, a worldwide center for children with special needs.
