Wouldn't it be nice to have a module which adds substantial (and we mean substantial) search capacity to your site? Without any hassle for the site owner, no additional programming, no nothing, and simply search anything on the screen? Mod_ludo_highlight_search is taking care of this. It allows you to search anything on screen by simply highlighting it, as long as it's not in a wrapper or an iframe. Everything else qualifies as the "food" for a zillion search engines, catalogs, encyclopaedias, dictionaries, picture databases, specialized databases etc. etc. Highlight, click, search, that's it. I know it sounds a bit too good to be true, but, umm, it simply is a nice thing! Just give it a try. It works in all recent versions of Internet Explorer, Netscape and Firefox, and probably a couple of others too. You can find it in the Extensions: http://extensions.joomla.org/component/option,com_mtree/task,viewlink/link_id,1809/Itemid,35/ |

An update to the Joomla Bibtex bibliography component has been released, details are on the Joomla extensions directory website: http://extensions.joomla.org/component/option,com_mtree/task,viewlink/link_id,1766/Itemid,35/ This bibtex component for Joomla allows you to create a bibliography for your site by importing bibtex references either by pasting the text for any number of references or even by selecting a bibtex .bib file to load the entire file. References can then be removed from the backend and viewed at the frontend in a well integrated Joomla style. The frontend allows re-ordering of references as well as filtering by both author and title. Categories of references can be defined, and the menu item parameters allows the category to be displayed at the front end to be chosen. If no category is selected, all are shown in the front end. A url can be assigned to each reference which shows up as a link by the title at the front end. This url is automatically extracted from the bibtex string, even if it is not in the url tag. A link at the bottom of the from end page generates the full bibtex string for all the references returned by the filter. |

Version 0.2 of our extraordinary Joomla compenent "Seyret" is released. By using this Joomla component, you can create your own video directories without spending your bandwidth.
Now, it is plugin based and you can add new video server types by only adding a plugin. You don't need to reinstall component to add new video servers. Extract plugin file and copy it under videoserver directory. Component will automatically use it. Youtube, Google and Metacafe plugins are included as default, Milliyet plugin is ready for download. More plugins like Break.com are coming in near future.
Adding new video is very easy that you enter only video link. Component will pull up information pertaining to videos, like thumbnail address, image title, etc. Administrators will have more information about videos, but users will be able to change only video title and video details.
Another extraordinary feature of this component is video download option. If you enable video download option, your registered users will be able to download videos if supported. Now all of our plugins are with download support. For new plugins, it will be very important for us to support video download feature. Please read documents to get help about enabling video download option.
