To celebrate the opening of SwitchTemplate.com Switch brings you his Profile Badge Plugin. It can be found in the freebies section of http://www.SwitchTemplate.com This plugin creates a profile badge consisting of a Site name, user profile image and space for two slogans. It then generates the code to place this badge on any other site that allows html insertion, such as a myspace profile. This not only allows your users to encourage their friends to sign up to your site, but every time the html is used you get backlinks, which everyone knows help build a site's ranking in the search engines. Best of all, it's Free! For more information on the plugin: http://www.switchtemplate.com/content/blogcategory/15/30/

Today, Sascha Teuber from the Joomla!-LMO Team announced two Releases including enhancements for the standard LMO functionality. First, a Plugin (Mambot) to display squads, based on the data from the LMO player-statistics (pictures from the squad, the coaches or thephysio could be displayed. This data will be given directly to the Mambot or is saved in separate configuration files) and second, a modulto display the best scorers from any of your LMO-leagues. The settings were done in a separate configuration file. Parameters like width and color values were possible via the backend. Please have a look at the Demos. The LMO is a standalone PHP script to administer sport leagues like soccer, football, icehockey, handball, basketball and many others. The LMO - Joomla! modules show rankings, fixtures, results, player stats, charts, matchup's, minitables or the next games of your preferred LMO leagues. |

A new version (1.6.0) of joomlaXplorer - the great File Manager for Joomla! - is available. This new version brings a new Syntax-Highlighting File Editor (CodePress, check it out: http://codepress.fermads.net/) and many fixes to the archive creation.
Update Note: If you update an existing installation don't forget to backup your bookmarks from the directory "/administrator/components/com_joomlaxplorer/.config/bookmarks_*" and
upload them after you have uninstalled the old and installed the new version.
Changelog:
- archives do not contain the whole file path anymore now, but only the relative one
- added
possibility to specify a directory where an archive file is saved to
(allows to create archives even when the currenty directory is not
writable)
- added the great CodePress Sytnax Highlighting Editor (http://codepress.fermads.net/)
- removed the extra spaces in the directory path
- fixed the "Strict Standards" error (non-static method called statically)
